dentrology

Learned last night from an archaeologist that you can tell how many years a person was breastfed by counting the rings in their teeth.

I'm guessing via cross-section?
I should have asked.

    honest & true! the only part I made up was the word "dentrology" which I cobbled together from the greek and latin affixes that mrs. mahlik made us memorize in sophomore english.

    I'l have to track down a primary source...
