What I think moves people so deeply is not so much that Obama’s election was some kind of civil rights achievement. It was a human rights achievement.

Indeed. His "To Do" list is long but very cool. Glad he's going to shut down that Elizabethan torture chamber at Gautanomo for starters and lift the ridiculous trade embargo levied against Cuba.
