Which was conveniently delayed *just* long enough for me to hammer the phone lines on the first hour the Austin Motel opened up reservations for SXSW.
Could hardly believe it when I finally got through just before we boarded.
My new reservation is 1/3 the rate of my original reservation at a swank downtown hotel.
+ 10 times more funk.
