a found poem
There were bad moments
When I would discover
I was alone
Alone-ness became loneliness
The sensation strong enough
To remind me
(How could I forget?)
That the one thing better
Than solitude
The only thing better
Than solitude
Is society
Not the roar of city streets
Or the cultured talk of schoolmen
Or human life in general
I mean a friend
Or Friends
Or a good, friendly woman
Found in Edward Abbey’s Desert Solitaire: A Season in the Wilderness

How about a good friendly woman with coffee? Keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get to see you!
Love this poem, btw.
