This is hysterical. I love the "subtle" acting when she's interested in something, and the husband should win some kind of award for "best indication of frustration in a filmstrip"!
the thing that strikes me the most about this is how remarkably close it is to today ... a far cry from camera phones and flying cars, this is nearly on the money predicting:
* the internet * online commerce * in-house observation * email
the most interesting omissions here are:
* no sense of entertainment within the system itself
* no underlying concept that it's all being driven by computer, or something computer-like
what's more impressive is this isn't a pitch by a specific company or consortium, but rather an at-large guess.

it makes me want to go out and see old episodes of "the 20th century" and "the 21st century."
