aging out

kiwi_250.jpgIt may interest to you to learn that kiwis, when they age (and it's not too hot), don't weep, the way a pear or an apple might.

They shrivel like an ancient dame once lovely. Their fur holds the rot intact.

I discovered this because I just found two, forgotten for some time, in a bowl that I had set aside.
