all over the map (but mostly chicago.il.us)
Right then. I've been reading your blog for a few months now and the lovely posts to your dear friend Tom.I can't even begin to imagine what a shock his death must have been for all of his family and friends.I read so many wonderful tributes about him on the memorial web site and he sounds like a wonderful, kind, witty, and kind person. Such a tragedy. Tom's death is one of life's cruel twists for which there are no words to describe the grief, pain, and unanswered question 'why?'On those nights when Tom's ghost is lingering, look up into the sky and remember this bit of wisdom from the Eskimo:"perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are with us."peace to you...db
this is lovely, db -- thanks.
